Ratatouille is one of famous tradional food in frech. The word ratatouille comes from Occitan region
"ratatolha". The the location is in Occitan Provence particularly
Nice. Ratatouille is also derived from the word "touiller", which
means stirring the food. Usually, the food is served in the summer by using
fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, red and green paprika, onions, garlic and
courgette (a type of cucumber). Can also added aubergine or eggplant.
Ratatouille is usually eaten as a side dish or main menu extra food, it also nice to be served independent menu accompanied by bread or rice.
